Poitiers
or Limoges should be your first targets to head for. Under
The Lime Tree is off the D739, a local road running more or
less between these two cities.
National Directions
At Poitiers, take the
N10 towards MANSLE. At Mansle, turn left at the traffic lights
onto the D739 towards ST.CLAUD. Go through ROMEFORT, VALENCE
and CELLEFROUIN. After Cellefrouin, take the first right turn
at LASCOUX, towards FONTFAIX.
At Limoges, take the N141 towards ANGOULEME.
Go past ST.JUNIEN, CHABANAIS, ROUMAZIERS LOUBERT. After Roumaziers,
turn right at FONTAFIE towards ST.CLAUD. Go through NIEIUIL.
At St.Claud, take the left turn opposite the Pharmacy onto
the D739 towards CELLEFROUIN and MANSLE. Go through CHALAIS.
After Chalais, take the first left turn towards FONTFAIX at
Lascoux.
Local Directions
You are now at LASCOUX.
Follow the road down towards the river. Go over the bridge
at 'Le Lavoir'. After the bridge and right hand bend, take
the first left up the hill signposted Le Lac and FONTFAIX
LE HAUT. At the top, rather than follow the road to the right,
go straight on, keeping all the renovated stone buildings,
the mail box and the UTLT sign on
your left. This is effectively a right of way. At the end
of the building, follow the road round to the left and into
our car park.
Et voila ~ vous etes bien arrivez chez nous!
